PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS
· Franklin County Rescue Squad, Winchester, TN May 1997-Present (Volunteer) The Rescue Squad provides services concentrating in the areas of underwater evidence search and recovery, swiftwater, and high angle rescue. The most recent acquisition of water equipment is the Marine Sonic Technology 600kHz side scan sonar and the Seabotix LBV150S2. Chief Smith has also purchased four new Ocean Technology Interspiro with the Ambient Breathing Valve-1. We have the option of using hardline or wireless communications. Personal equipment includes a surface drysuit, diving drysuit, and vertical/cave. Parker Lowndes provided training for diving with drysuits.
